Tirana Airport Shuttle is one of Albania’s first companies dedicated exclusively to pre-booked private airport transfers and Meet and Greet services at Tirana International Airport. Founded in 2021 by Donald Merdanaj, we were built to solve a problem that thousands of international travelers faced every year: arriving at Tirana Airport with no reliable, transparent way to get to their destination.
At the time we launched, Albania’s tourism industry was beginning one of the fastest growth periods in its history, but pre-booked private airport transfers simply did not exist as a service category in the country. Travelers arriving at TIA had to negotiate fares with local taxis on the spot, deal with language barriers, and hope the driver knew where they were going. We believed Albania deserved better, and we built a service to prove it.
